Made of a limestone and quartzite composition stone, this tablet has a hint of paintwork to give an ancient realism.
Using a hook or nail, the piece has the potential to hang as a wall feature with a carefully drilled angled hole on the back.
On offer here is an interesting replica of an offering scene from ancient Egypt. The owner who commissioned the carving is the largest figure and he tentatively holds the hand of his wife. A small figure directly in front of his striding feet, is their son.
Another small figure is positioned in front of the mans face and is administering a potion of beer and herbs in a bowl.
