On offer here for the first time in over a year is a large and attractive Ankh amulet with the name of Tutankhamun engraved in a cartouche. This can be seen on the front side of the Ankh.
It is made of a limestone and quartzite composition stone and features a beautiful Egyptian blue patina with aged effects. The central band and outer edges of the ankh are gilded with 24 karat gold leaf.

Background information - The Ankh has ancient origins whose form depicts a particular style of knotted rope. This rope must have had considerable importance to be given such a strong presence in art and literature. Perhaps it represents a token reminder of the very first Knot. The invention of the wheel gets all the attention and it's just a theory of mine that such an ancient revolution could garner such a 'binding' and powerful presence.
