On offer here for the first time since 2018 is a replica of a Roman military document of a type that was issued to a member of the legion on his retirement - usually after 25 years of service. Dating from 107 A.D during the reign of Trajan.
Made of a limestone and quartzite composition stone, it has an aged green patina.
