One of the most realistic fragments to emerge out of the deep Down under Pharaoh Archive last year, this mounted, removable fragment features an important dignitary of Egypt’s old kingdom known as Ptah-Hotep.
His name can be seen in the eroded hieroglyphs above the striding figure.
Only a hint of the traditional Egyptian paint palette remains to enliven the figure of the great man.
This is a solid and stable piece easily removed from the support base and I recommend using good lighting to show up the incredible texture of the fragment. A simple desk lamp is all I have used here and it is sure to invoke the question….’is it real?’.
Real antiquities that are of comparable size and style are valued in the thousands!
This is the second time it has been available here and is a signed and dated 2024 edition.
