On offer here is a Neo-Assyrian cylinder seal impression replica.
Made of a limestone and quartzite composition stone it has a realistic earthy aged ochre patina.
This wrestling scene shows a central winged hero / Annunaki / Apkallu - (a protective wise celestial guardian) in combat with two early depictions of griffins.
Very fine details can be seen in the impression with particular attention given to the wings of the animals and those of the the Apkallu.
The cuneiform writing itself, is a miniature marvel of the inscribed arts.
