Available here is a scarab featuring the name of Tutankhamun.
Made of a limestone and quartzite composition stone it has a slate black colouration with a light polish.
Scarabs represent renewal / rebirth and are frequently inscribed with beneficial symbols to aid the owner in life. In death the so called ‘heart scarab’ would be inscribed with a spell to help your heart speak truly and not let you down during a judgement ritual that determined passage into the afterlife or oblivion.
This scarab features the name of king Tutankhamun inscribed underneath - Neb-Kheperu-Ra which translates to ‘lord of the forms of Ra’. Ra being the principal sungod through the majority of Egypt’s history.
