Made of a limestone and quartzite composition stone the pyramid has hand painted details.
On offer here is a small pyramid with fine hieroglyphic details of Egyptian iconography depicted on four sides.
The pyramid features on one side the lotus flower, a sacred symbol of creation associated with the sun partly because of its striking yellow central petals and how it interacted with the sun during the day. (Opening and closing at the start and end of each day). It is also a symbol of upper Egypt.
A representation of the goddess Maat, in a seated position can be seen on another side. She represents balance and harmony in life and overall world order. The goddess of truth and justice.
The other two sides feature the cartouche of king Thutmose III and the tyet knot that was sacred to the goddess Isis. Also known as the girdle of Isis it is strongly associated with the female menstrual cycle and was used to invoke healing.
