On offer here for the first time in over a decade, one of my rare carvings of Osiris. Found in the old archive on the weekend, it was produced in 2009. This is a very realistic looking fragment with subtle colours of the ancient Egyptian painter’s palette enlivening the figure and countenance of this most important god of the afterlife.
Mounted on a hand carved felt based stand from the era it is not possible to reissue again in this format.
